The Lone Star Volunteer Fire Department is comprised of men and women from the community who volunteer their time to training and serve the citizens of Lone Star.  The Department is led by Fire Chief, Jerry Stoermer.

Members of the LSVFD continually train and pursue education through the Texas A&M System to improve their skills and knowledge regarding fire and fire safety.

If you wish to become a member of the LSVFD, simply attend a weekly meeting and sign-up.  The Department meets every Tuesday at the Lone Star Volunteer Fire Department, 201 W. Industrial, Lone Star, TX.
